Global Book Bags: A collection of learning activities based on children's books with a global topic or theme. Book bags are designed for use at home, and may be adapted for use in the K-5 classroom, to develop global competence in elementary grade students.
Global Themed Book Lists (K-5): Recommended books for use in elementary classrooms to teach Global Citizenship, Geography, UN Sustainable Development Goals, Environmental Literacy, and Resilience-Rebuilding-Restoration.
Global Education Reading List: Book titles are listed by elementary, middle, high school, and professional development for use in teaching and learning for global awareness, understanding, and competence.
Global Voices: Digital Storytelling through Photography: This program is offered to K-12 teachers in the Sonoma and San Diego regions. This 3-day workshop series (sessions held on Saturdays -- one in the Fall, Winter, and Spring) helps teachers access, implement, evaluate, and create resources using the Global Oneness Project to develop global competence around the Sustainable Development Goals. Check out a sample lesson plan written by CGEP Teacher Leader Marcus Greene (San Diego Unified). Student work will be available in our global gallery in Spring 2018.
