Project

A project helps PK-6 teachers understand what global book bags are and how they work in a classroom. Teachers examine globally themed children’s books organized around a theme (e.g., diversity and inclusion, environmental literacy, SEL, people who make a difference, etc.). Teachers learn how to develop learning activities focused on global competence, adapt or create their own, and prepare a class set of global book bags to use in their classrooms. Workshop can be hybrid or in-person for 10-12 hours.
