Reading Passport

Designed for middle and high school students to reflect on the books they read and keep a log of the “places they go” and “people they meet” through stories. Many books have global themes that encourage students to investigate the world with curiosity, empathize with others, keep an open mind, and explore the many ways that people respond to challenges, opportunities, and extraordinary events in their lives.

This passport provides a place for students to expand their thinking about the books they read, share their ideas with each other through book discussions, and record books they want to read next. We hope this supports a culture of reading and for readers in your classroom, library, and/or school!

Download the 32-page passport here or contact CGEP@sandiego.edu to request copies.

Pairs well with the Global Lit Log and Wonder World Book Cafe podcast, both created by Global Teacher Fellow Susan Taylor.
