Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a workshop featuring Latino Leaders and a global education curriculum that inspires personal storytelling, community leadership, and global collaboration.
Latino Leaders Speak: A FREE Professional Learning Opportunity
Latino Leaders Speak: Personal Stories of Struggles and Triumph brings the voices and experiences of contemporary Latino leaders into middle and high school classrooms through inspiring stories of perseverance, identity, leadership, service, and achievement. Created by teachers, for teachers, this FREE professional learning opportunity includes a classroom-ready curriculum with 14 lessons that promote inquiry, perspective-taking, global competence, culturally responsive learning, and civic action. The curriculum is an excellent resource for Ethnic Studies programs and can also enrich classroom learning and celebrations during Hispanic Heritage Month. Participating educators receive free books, curriculum resources, posters, digital materials, audio recordings, and selected Spanish-language resources.
