The California Global Education Project is seeking TK-12 teachers interested in learning more about global education, teaching for global competence, and developing their leadership skills and capacity for building globally aware and globally competent education communities. CGEP will select approximately 10 educators to form a cohort to serve as 2026 Global Teacher Fellows. Selected Fellows will participate in monthly virtual meetings, book study, a local inquiry project, summer convening, and global education forum. Participants will receive a $1,500 stipend and reimbursement for authorized travel expenses. Applications are due December 5, 2025. All applicants will be notified by December 12. The fellowship begins in January and ends in December 2026. Applicants must be teachers (including CTE, TOSAs, and instructional coaches) in California. Please send any questions to Emily Schell at eschell@sandiego.edu.
