CGEP@USD’s Teaching for Sustainable Communities program invites K-12 teachers in San Diego County to participate in a statewide program launch webinar in June, 4-day summer institute (virtual) in July, 1-day follow-up meeting (Nov. 6, 2021), 3 webinars (Fall, Winter, Spring), and a culminating showcase of student learning (May). Teachers will learn about environmental justice, global competence, and student agency in relation to the UN Sustainable Development Goal #11 Sustainable Cities and Communities. Applications are due April 30, 2021. Participating teachers receive a $500 stipend. CEUs available through USD.
