California Global Education Project & Empatico

The California Global Education Project and Empatico are working together to develop the potential in every global citizen and spark empathy. In partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education, we are pleased to present a FREE workshop for elementary teachers in the San Diego region. Teachers will learn how to address Social Studies and global competence while engaging students in dialogue with peers across the state, U.S., and/or world through an easy-to-use interactive virtual platform that comes with lesson plans.

Participating teachers will receive classroom materials, are eligible for a mini-grant, and are invited to stay for lunch after workshop. Please bring reusable coffee mug and laptop or device. Register online here. Contact eschell@sdsu.edu with questions.
