Please join us for the Social Justice Inquiry to Action Teacher Colloquium on Thursday, May 2 at 4:30pm in Ballroom B of the Student Center at Sonoma State University.  This is a public event showcasing the pivotal work of a committed group of educators from Santa Rosa City Schools focused on the integration of global competence and social justice principles into curriculum, policies, and practices in their respective spaces. With the support of their SRCS district leaders and partners from the Sonoma State University School of Education and the California Global Education Project, the Social Justice Inquiry to Action presenters – representing school staff, teachers, and administrators – have engaged in collaborative research and creative work spanning a variety of topics and goals, including but not limited to: restorative justice practices, creating spaces for student voice and decision-making, teacher performance evaluation for equitable teaching, and integrating social justice content and standards into the curriculum.
