K-12 educators are invited to apply to Teaching for Sustainable Communities, a year-long program that begins with a 4-day summer institute (June 7, 8, 11, 12) in San Diego. The summer institute launches a year of follow-up support through one follow-up day (December 1), webinars, coaching, and field studies designed to improve environmental literacy and global competence, and engage students in civic action projects. The program culminates in a school, district, or regional exhibition of student learning.
