Korea Program to Advance Cultural Education (PACE) CGEP@Fullerton

This 3-day program is designed by FIRST to advance the understanding of Korean history, culture, literature, art, music and the educational needs of Korean students in the classroom.  The program brings students, parents and teachers together to discuss how to maximize the education of all students.

CGEP will present this program in collaboration with the Irvine Korean Parents Association (IKPA).  You will learn about the history and culture of Korean and about the Korean American experience.  You will have an opportunity to participate in student, parent and teacher dialogues related to cultural and educational issues and needs. Teachers receive a classroom library and lessons for teaching about Korean culture, history and the arts. A $300 stipend for full participation is provided by the IKPA. A banquet at a nearby Korean restaurant concludes the program.
