Using Stories to Engage Students in Deep Dialogue

Create pathways for ethnic studies in middle school by introducing themes and principles of ethnic studies through engaging learning plans. Teachers will work together to identify rich content in children’s books that support dialogue and learning focused on ethnic studies, social justice, and global competence. Teachers will meet on Zoom on May 17 and in person on June 24 for a hands-on workshop. Registration closed.
