Become a Member
CGEP provides high-quality professional learning for PK-12 teachers in California. If you are interested in global education, whether you have attended one, some, or all of our programs, you should register as a CGEP Member. This ensures you stay connected to CGEP and global education opportunities for professional growth, resources, and community events. Members will receive our monthly e-newsletter, e-blasts about programs, events, and resources available, solicitations for program and project ideas, and invitations to quarterly Community of Practice sessions that qualify teachers for coaching to enhance globally competent teaching. Member Spotlights: Each month, we will feature brief interviews with new members to highlight and connect our members from across the state.
Teaching Tips: Global educators will share their favorite strategies, practices, and ways of engaging students in developing global competence as they explore local and global issues.
Monthly Member Resource Drawing: We want our members to have the resources they need in their classrooms, and we have developed many great resources to share. Each month, we will select at least one member to receive books, Global Competence Activity cards, SDG tiles, classroom posters, maps and atlases, or other useful instructional resources.
